A Dollop of Daisy

The rain finally stopped today but everything is already soaked. It's still so gloomy a nap seems inevitable. Last night gio and I tried to make some kind of cookie cake thing from scratch, it basically came down to me throwing a little of everything I have in the kitchen into the mixer.. lets just say we came out with an entirely new dessert that I have never seen before... and it is a little bit frightening. :)

Remember Everything

It's absolutely awful here weather-wise and last night around 12:30 my roommate and I took a walk so that I could mail a letter and so that she could pick up an energy drink for a long night of studying. It was pretty much pouring down rain and underneath a random streetlight I saw this tiny bike completely spray painted gold with this note written on the seat. "Remember Everything" ... nice to see something so uplifting in such a depressing rain storm. This is the best picture I could get with my camera phone but I think it captured the mood well.

Rainy Tuesday

I found a couple pictures from awhile back on my desktop today. For some reason the shades of grays and whites in the curtains really interest me. Funny how movement can be seen in such a still photograph.

Make-Shift Lighting Studio

In class today we attempted to create a lighting studio... I'm really happy with these shots, especially the motion ones. Most of the lighting effects that I got were created either with a strobe light or with a color sleeve.

Halloween ... Belated.. but here ya go!

I found the first image of a photo I had to recreate for a class in Art Foundation at VCU, thought it worked well with the Halloween Theme. Characters from halloween night follow that... I hope everyone doesn't lose any sleep after viewing these two! Jeff decided to go as Santa Claus, very successful but VERY hot ... imagine a full on sweat suit stuffed with pillows at a college party... nottt the smartest execution ever. :) And phil.. well let's just say his fro was about a foot wide in every direction.
